1. Choose your method
Sublimation for mugs, pillows and white polyester; DTF for cotton and colored shirts. You can start by buying DTF transfers by the meter.
2. Minimum equipment
- 15 × 15 in heat press
- Mug press (if you sublimate)
- Computer with design software
- Heat tape, Teflon sheet and a sturdy table
3. Suppliers
Order samples of blanks, wash and print them before buying in bulk. Compare at least three blank and DTF suppliers.
4. Designs that sell
Prepare seasonal designs 4 to 6 weeks ahead: Mother's Day, Halloween, Christmas, graduations and sports teams.
